Vanessa began dancing at the age of 4. She trained extensively under Chris and Shanna Sell in tap, ballet, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. At the age of 14 she joined the Miami City Ballet where she danced in the production of 'The Nutcracker'. She was a competitive dancer for 6 years and did many intensives and workshops to strengthen her skills. After graduating high school Vanessa wanted to continue her aspirations of dancing and dedicated herself to auditioning. She began her professional career at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL where she spent 2 years performing in multiple shows throughout the park. From there she became very active in different production companies where she was a featured dancer for a 'Verizon Fios' commercial and the 'Latin Grammy Awards.' She then relocated to Orlando, FL where she became a contracted performer at Universal Studios. She has danced for the company for 7 years. In that time she has been apart of opening casts of 4 new shows throughout the park; workshopping and being a performance captain for one of the shows, was a featured dancer for Jimmy Fallon and the opening of his ride, and danced at the yearly Entertainment awards/New Years Eve party in Universal's City Walk. In Orlando she was a Prowler dancer for the Orlando Predators; an arena football team. She continues to work with local production companies traveling and doing shows and guest teaches at local studios in her area. She is now going back to school minoring in her business degree where she hopes to use that to open her own production company and studio.
